New Yorkers from jam, punk, jazz, soul and samba bands joined forces in 2018 to form this psychedelic rock powerhouse. In May 2019 The Black Capsule released their eponymous album to critical acclaim and was compared to legendary acts such as the Velvet Underground, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and The Doors by New York Music Daily.
Their debut single "Seven Roses" garnered a slot on the British magazine Classic Rock's 'Freebirds' compilation leading to extensive British and European airplay. With the thunder of two drummers and playing with utter abandon The Black Capsule continue to aim for maximum tone.
